Debate Announcement: May 26th on the proposition, "What does the Bible mean when it calls Jesus G/god?"

Beginning on May 26, I will be debating a Jehovah's Witness on the proposition, "What does the Bible mean when it calls Jesus G/god?" This will be in written form and will consist of the following format:

Mike Felker (representing the Trinitarian side)--the affirmative

David (representing the non-Trinitarian side)--the opposing

1. Opening argument from the affirming side (2,000 words)

2. Opening rebuttal from the opposing side (2,000 words)

3. Rebuttal from the affirming side (1,500 words)

4. Rebuttal from opposing side (1,500 words)

5. Cross examination--affirming side asks 5 direct questions (limit 150 words per question) that must be directly answered by opposing side (500 words per question limit)

6. Cross examination--Opposing side asks 5 direct questions (limit 150 words per question) that must be directly answered by affirming side (500 words per question limit)

7. Rebuttal from affirming side (1,000 words)

8. Rebuttal from opposing side (1,000 words)

9. Closing statement from affirming side (500 words)

10. Closing statement from opposing side (500 words)

Please note that there are no time limitations on this exchange. Each post will be posted on this blog as soon as the debater finishes and submits his statement. This means that several days may pass in between each post.

By the way, David (the JW) is the one who has been posting comments anonymously on my last series of videos that dealt with Jehovah's Witnesses. He will be a very capable opponent who knows his position very well. These, in my opinion, make the best debates.
