Debate: The Great Tribulation. Past or Future?

This was an excellent debate that took place between Gary DeMar and Thomas Ice at Biola University in 2002. Because of the popularity of dispensationalist, premillennial eschatology most Christians are unaware that there are other perspectives within "evangelicalism." Debates like these are great opportunities to hear both sides of the issue. The debate is primarily centered around Matthew 24. Did it take place in the events surrounding the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D., or is it yet to come? Listen and come to your own conclusions.

  1. I will listen to this some time. But can't there be lesser and greater fulfillments instead of a debate ?;)

  2. Certainly that's a possibility, but there would need to be something in the text to indicate such :-)
