Dawkins explains why he won't debate

Thanks to James White for POSTING THIS. I've always been amazed at the fact that the world's most popular and notorious atheist will not debate theists. In this short clip, Dawkins is asked why he will not debate someone like William Lane Craig, one of the world's leading theistic apologists. Not surprisingly, Dawkins dismisses Craig as a "professional debater" and that there "has to be more to it than that." Excuse me? Though I disagree with Craig in his apologetic methodologies, I respect him as an accomplished academian. And for Dawkins to dismiss Craig in the way that he did speaks volumes of the standard by which he operates in his atheistic apologetic.

Mike,

I could not agree more! I too am amazed at the cowardice on the part of Dawkins. I would want to ask him if he thinks Ehrman, Hitchens, Spong, Crossan, Atkins, Q. Smith, etc., wasted their time when they debated Craig.

Further, he (Dawkins) has debated John Lennox and Alister McGrath, both outspoken IDers, but he won't debate Dr. Craig or Dr. Stephen Meyer?

As you have said before: "That just doesn't add up."

Keep trucking!

Godspeed

Sorry Mike, I cannot debate you. I am busy that day washing my hair and playing bingo.
