If you are a Jehovah's Witness who is doubtful of the Watchtower's blood policy, you need to watch this

I can see it NOW! "Newspaper headlines... Bible rejected..Did you know that God killed innocent men, women, and children in his destruction? Its all in the Hebrew-Aramaic Scriptures - right in the Old Testament. Who would want to worship a God like that?..." Why do you think he did such a thing? Do you think he has a reason? Maybe the reason then is similar to the blood issue? What? you don't know what his reason was for then? So you can not compare? Let's just say this to all Christains: you do not need to be persecuted, since most are not anyway (and they don't find that weird). You don't have to be faithful to death (that only pertained to Christ - you know, the one which "Christianity" is based; and when it comes to the blood issue (well its ok to dictate to God). You never showed that the prohibition changed, so we will change it for you, cause we just feel its to harsh? Signed, those which know better than you God.

You gave your Son, YOUR ONLY CHILD, for us God, but let me tell you... You better believe I am not giving mine to make a stand for YOU and YOURS! Signed those imperfect and sinful humans, which have killed more sons and daughters of other people in wars, etc, which know better than you, and which possess no real integrity to the promises of the bible. In fact, I only read it cause "it sounds good". But, did you REALLY expect me to live by it too? I was not aware of that. Had I been I would not have called myself a Christian.

You mean though your Son was faithful to death, the model he left us...you mean you expect me to be faithful like that too? You got to be kidding me God - really.

Come on people - READ your bible! Do you think any of us have or can experience anything God has not? So do you think he does not understand. Being a Christian, did mean loyalty unto death. Did not Job say, shall we except the GOOD things and not the BAD things from God? What type of Christian are you?

What's most sad is that this kid died for nothing. He didn't die for something the Bible taught, as the Bible says absolutely nothing about transfusing blood. Instead, this kid died for his loyalty to men, not in loyalty for God. If you see things in this light, the video makes a lot more sense.

he died from the car accident - there is noooo proof that blood would have saved his life. Blood transfusions have killed thousands if not millions of people - Doctors realize this fact now. Money is what controls and promotes the use of Blood banks - The Red Cross has knowingly given tainted blood - You would put your trust in Liars who are contolling the blood - THEN you would be worse off than refusing blood. My sister in the 80's refused a blood transfusion - she recovered -BUT many at the same hospital died or got very sick at the very same time she was there - for excepting that blood. Knowing personally the growing number of Naturopathic Drs. - and I know some of the best = They would have Nothing to do with blood transfusions - because they know how bad they are and Unnessesary - especially with all the Bloodless options and Natural blood builders we now have. Jehovah knows better than man - he set laws for a reason (even if you don't agree that was the law). Satan knows how important blood is to Jehovah that is why he twists the truth about it and is overly promoting things like Vampirism in the media. Also at some point you have to draw the line on what mankind should personally attempt in order to save a life, we have all seen examples of that. Your attemps to demonize Witnesses for blood will and is- backfiring the more science and Natural medicine evolve.

@TruthSolace, I guess we'll never know for sure since the transfusion was refused. In this situation, what did this kid have to lose? If you are on the verge of dying, and the doctors say you need a transfusion, then you should get one. Either way, the blood is on the Watchtower's hands for the thousands who have needlessly given up their lives for an organization.

Isn't blod the symbol of life? Don't Jehovah's Witnesses put the symbol on a higher level than what it symbolises?

"Blood transfusions have killed thousands if not millions of people - Doctors realize this fact now. "

So your reasons for refusing blood transfusions are medical ones? I thought they were because Jehovah forbade transfusions in the Bible.

Jehovah's Witnesses, you need to make your minds up; either you refuse blood transfusion because Jehovah says so in the Bible, or because it's medical dangerous/ethically questionable. Pick one.

no, just proof that Jehovah's laws are perfect - and the proof is there in everything Science shows.

"Jehovah's laws are perfect." Of course, but this carries with it the assumption that blood transfusions are forbidden. But whats amazing is that the WT has strayed so far in this issue in chopping up the "law" so much that the components or fractions of blood are allowed to be transfused, but the whole blood is not. Kinda sounds like the equivalent of saying, "fornication is forbidden by God's law, but its ok to have a little fornication here and a little fornication there."
