How "Christian" is America?

Check this out and ask yourself: How Christian is America? From now on when people ask me, "Why do you waste so much of your time studying theology, discussing, debatine, writing blogs, etc. etc.," I am simply going to direct their attention to this recent poll. Ask yourself another question: what do you think is going to solve this problem? Do you think that voting for the right president is going to change it? Here's my answer: The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the only thing that is going to change this. But how is the Gospel going to change this? Glad you asked. And I refer you to Frank Turk's recent blog where he says,

"And how can they know who to trust if they haven't heard of the One who can be trusted? And how can they hear if nobody tells them? And how is anyone going to tell them, unless someone is sent to do it?

Sound like a solution? I think so. So I leave the challenge up to you, the reader to decide for yourself how important truth is in America today.

Oh, and on a brighter note, I will be speaking at SNA this saturday. The topic: God is most glorified when we are most satisfied in Him. Yes, if you are a John Piper fan, then this is a must. So, if you are anywhere near Dawsonville, GA and ages 18-30, then you should soooo come! We will have music and a pretty amazing horror movie that we made last weekend that will pretty much change your life.
