Jehovah's Witnesses: are you the only ones who hold to Paradise Earth?

This is a video I made in promoting the fact that not only JW's believe in Paradise Earth as the eternal hope for Christians.  The clips are from a round-table eschatology discussion between John Piper, Doug Wilson, Sam Storms, and Jim Hamilton. If you are interested in eschatology, i'd recommend watching/listening to the full 2 hour discussion whereby the various eschatological views are discussed and debated. You can watch it HERE.

Very good. I didn't know that many Christians rejected the new earth. Interesting.

Hello, Mike:

I think an important and significant difference is that these 4 do believe in an intermediate state (heaven) right after death, correct?

Ivan, you are correct and these men spend a fair amount of time discussing the intermediate state. However, they are strongly contrasting themselves with those who view heaven as the eternal dwelling place for Christians.

And though i'm not completely decided on the matter, I do find the intermediate state to be reasonable.

Mike:

You should check out Dr. Samuele Bacchiocchi's book, "Immortality or Resurrection? A Biblical Study on Human Nature and Destiny" if you ever get a chance to.

The Bible Students have the most logical and scripturally sound soteriology as outlined in "Divine Plan of The Ages" by C.T Rusell. Seems Evangelicals are beginning to catch on , is God slowly beginning to remove the veil of ignorance ? Perhaps time will tell ....
